grave danger

"i love you like grave danger"
-alexander

thomas visited me here in savannah. my love is changing. its a heart exploding, world's axis shifting sort of thing.

next time he comes, it'll be to take me home.

ps. my very favourite artist, since i was a little girl, is still releasing albums. for this i am so grateful. his is the first music i can remember. my dad's favourite. my friends and i had a make believe town in my backyard every summer for many years when we were young; bird on a wire was the "national anthem". it is funny to me now, thinking of our young voices singing such nostalgic, lamenting, time-gone-by words.
