thanksgiving

this is what our thanksgiving looked like this year.

although we missed our families and turkey and gravy, it was also kinda fun to celebrate away from home with our friends. we gave each other cards, Thom said grace, and we talked about what kind of parents we want to be. we ate bread and olives and cheese and sesame salad and chocolate. we drank wine from plastic cups. not the most traditional thanksgiving. but perfect in its way.
we felt full of thanks.
oh, and there was pumpkin pie!
