for fear of moths

have you heard of Minou Drouet? "la petite princesse des mots" {the little princess of words}. if you are over a certain age and live in France, you likely do, otherwise probably not? There was an article about her in my most recent issue of Cabinet magazine. I am captivated.

"I must be a little rabbit who once turned its fur inside out for fear of moths." - extract from a notebook of eight year old Drouet.

"siamese animal twin of my heart
greedy eyes like children's eyes
who looking at pastries
undress the icing
from cakes all crackly with frost
mouth which nibbles with no respite
this tragic candy, time."

  6. i responded to your comment in my comment section, but i was feeling self conscious about how much i was writing, so let me finish here:
-i updated my blog roll on it & put your pretty little blog on it!
-going to superstore right away and i'm going to try and find that joe bathing suit you had on here a few posts ago. i'm going swimming with my grade sixes tomorrow afternoon and i don't really fancy sauntering around in a bikini in front of grade six boys!
